I graduated in 2015 with a BSc in Human Biology from Oxford Brookes University. After graduating, I began working at the University of Oxford as a Research Technician in the Centre for Osteoarthritis Pathogenesis. During my time as a technician, I became interested in the microbiota which led me to move to Norwich and join the Hall lab in 2017 as a PhD student.

My PhD focuses on the impact of the early life microbiota on vaccine efficacy. Differences in immune responses to vaccines exist between geographical distinct populations which may be linked to differences in the gut microbiota. Determining how microbiota members improve antigen-specific immune responses will help deliver greater vaccine efficacy.
