In my project I will examine how the presence of Bifidobacterium breve exopolysaccharide (EPS) modulates changes in the microbiota in early life.

I am a Nutrition and Biomedicine M.Sc. student at the Technical University of Munich and I joined the Hall lab in May 2018 for my M.Sc. thesis. During my program I became interested in the microbiome, as one essential part of the human body and I am excited to have the possibility to write my thesis on this topic.
In my project I will examine how the presence of Bifidobacterium breve exopolysaccharide (EPS) modulates changes in the microbiota in early life. Here I am using an in-vitro model colon system, which mimics the early life gut microbiota and monitor microbial changes over time.
