I am a BSc Biomedical Sciences student from Cardiff University. I have joined the Hall lab in September 2025 for my professional training year. During my degree I became interested in the microbiome and am looking forward to furthering my understanding and skills in my placement here. My project will be looking to identify specific bacteriophages for Stapholococcus Haemolyticus. This is to help contribute to alternative therapeutic strategies for treating patients, specifically preterm infants, with infections caused by antibiotic resistant strains of this bacteria.
